“I wanted to be an artist but I wanted my work to matter.” - Patti Smith.

I have trained at premiere arts schools my entire life, with the foundation of my training being from Booker T. Washington High School For The Performing and Visual Arts. I am a member of theatre conservatory, where I have garnered training in the fundamental Techniques of Acting, Diction, Stage Combat, Post War/Modern Scene Study, and Physical Theatre. I am a proud member of The Mime Troupe, with my most recent show being Utopia, a story told completely through mime, where in a fictional future individuality has been lost and society is controlled through medication and computer regulation. Through art, a group of dissidents combat this future, in order to rediscover their distinctiveness.
As a whole, I find my purpose as an artist is to shine light on perspectives. There are a plethora of ways to view the world we happen to live within, and I think art allows one to constructively grow as a human being, as they gain knowledge of the life around them. Art ultimately allows humans to connect with others in a way so powerful, centuries of humans have dedicated themselves to the practice. Art is human connection in the most powerful form.
